I'm no gouger, King says

MANLY prop Jason King last night angrily hit back at allegations of eye-gouging as the NRL declared it may have to implement tougher rules governing the offence.

King was yesterday cleared by the NRL match review committee of gouging Wests Tigers rival Keith Galloway during Manly's win at Leichhardt Oval after no formal complaint was made.

But King fears "mud may stick".
