Warringah Mall Eagles Angels help Josh and Fiji Rugby League.
| 26/8/2009 | By Mary Finkelsen- Warringah Mall Eagles Angels Manager |
Over the last two weeks Josh (Perry) has called on all fans to help him support Fiji Rugby League by donating old football boots that will go to young adults and children in Fiji who otherwise would be playing barefoot.
"I saw first hand a few years back how much the Fijians love their Rugby League when visiting some villages but with all the civil unrest and poverty in their country footwear for playing sport is a luxury" Josh said.
"Would be great for Sea Eagles players and fans to join together and help people less fortunate than us, so bring your old boots to Brookvale Oval Sunday August 30 and go in the draw to win some great prizes on the day" A collection point will be set up the northern end of the ground for donations.
To help Josh's cause the Angels major sponsors Warringah Mall, have started the prize donation with a $200 shopping voucher. The Warringah Mall Eagles Angels will be on the field drawing the prize winners.
Be there and support Josh's wonderful cause by getting rid of your old boots.
